My wife tells me there’s some sort of house on the property, too.

And I bought this adorable little Hinimoto tractor along with it . It features a very noisy little 2-cylinder 0.9 liter diesel engine.

The whole property is just shy of 3 acres, and I’m incredibly happy to get out further from the city. It’s not the complete BFE I grew up with, but it’s enough to make me very happy and close enough to civilization/relatives to keep the Mrs. happy.

Yessir! The PNW is slowly growing on me.  I’ve even got a sweet view of Mt. Adams on the rare clear, sunny day. Now if Junuary could just make way for summer...

That’s a fantastic property you got there! Looks like that shop’s big enough to house about 6 cars inside comfortably, with room for tools and a ceiling high enough for a lift! And a covered outdoor section for additional parking. It also appears, if my eyes don’t deceive me, that you have a big concrete slab right outside the shop door. So useful. What a great setup.

Yes to all of that! The lean-to will be housing my travel trailer, though. The stupid thing’s a total PITA to maintain when it has to live outside in the eleventybillion months of rain we get, so covered storage is a God-send for the ol’ wobbly box. A two post lift is definitely high on the list of wants, too!

The previous owner ran an upholstery business out of the shop, so currently I can only fit 2 cars in it because there are 3 separate rooms partitioned off. I spent the better part of the day tearing out drywall and insulation, though. I plan to leave the smaller office space, but tear out the bigger two. That will leave plenty of room plus an office with lofted storage.

This is EXACTLY what the missus and I are looking for. Pleasant home with a nice porch for her, and big workshop for my shenanigans.

Not a bad idea. I was thinking I may get the tires filled with fluid. It's supposed to be a front wheel assist, but the drive shaft is MIA.

It was our 5-10 year plan to find something like this, and when we put in our offer there were 7 others so we just agreed and said “meh, we won’t get it anyway.” The older couple that lived here read our letter with our offer and wanted us to have the place to raise our kids on. They even turned down a higher offer. I'm speechless on how it all happened!

The neglected ones I already have first! I want to get my Studebaker road worthy again, fix all the oil leaks on my Suburban and install the cam I've had laying around forever, figure out why my Jeep runs like poo, and get rolling on LS swapping my S10.
